Last year, through the charity, ‘Stand By Me’, we sponsored an Ethiopian girl called Birtukan. During the course of the year letters and photographs were exchanged and we were kept informed of Birtukan’s progress in Bethany Bekoji School.
To continue our sponsorship of Birtukan our pupils are invited to contribute a minimum of £1.00 to participate in a “Mad Hair Day” to be held on Thursday 7th November. The money raised will help to purchase books, equipment and uniform for Birtukan. Contributions may be brought to school on or before Thursday 7th November.
