Dear parent/carers,
Just a few reminders about Friday 12th November:
- Friday 12th November is the last day for bringing in money for the personalised Christmas cards, mugs, bags for life, gift cards, tea towels and wrapping paper. Please return any outstanding orders by Friday 12th November. Money can be brought into school in a sealed envelope or it can be paid through ParentPay.
- Please bring in any donations of pre-loved books by Friday 12th November for the book sale on Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th November.
- Donations of pre-loved Christmas jumpers and festive clothing for the pre-loved Christmas jumper sale should also be brought in by Friday 12th November.
- Finally any donations of items towards our Elfridges sale should be brought in by Friday 12th November. The basic idea is that parents/carers donate small gift items that you may have around your house already (e.g. a candle, a diary, handcream, some sweets or a notebook etc). These could be unwanted gifts that you have received or items that you no longer need. The children bring in donations of small gift items and the PTA will sort through and organise the items into a stall. The children then come along to our 'Elfridges' stall on Thursday 9th December and choose and purchase a small present and then we help them wrap and decorate a gift bag! The idea is to instil the idea in our children that Christmas is also about giving to others. Our children will love the idea of choosing a present and for a family member or parent and keeping it a surprise for them to open at Christmas time. Any money collected through the Elfridges sale will be used by our PTA to purchase additional items for our children's learning and development. Please send in all donations of small gift items by Friday 12th November.
