ALL DAY RADIO SHOW
On Thursday 11th April we hope to broadcast our first ever all day radio show, beginning at 9.30 a.m. and running until 2.45 p.m. A draft schedule, showing estimated times for the various items to be broadcast, will be available on the school website from Monday evening.
The children and staff have worked hard to produce a broadcast which, in its scale and creative use of digital media, may well be unique to primary schools in N. Ireland. Every class in the school has been involved in producing items for the broadcast which will feature interviews with parents and grandparents, live music, desert island discs and interviews with Liam Beckett and Ian Morell and much more.
To allow parents to attend and listen to parts of the broadcast our school library will be available on Thursday from the start of the broadcast to the end of the school day. We do hope you will “pop in” and support the tremendous work of the children and staff which has made this event possible.
EASTER HOLIDAYS
School will close for the holidays at 12.00 noon on Friday 12th April and will re-open for summer term on Monday 29th April. Please note that mid-morning snacks and school will not be available on Friday.
OTHER CLOSINGS
1. School will be closed on Thursday 2nd May when school will be used as a polling station for the local council elections.
2. School will again be closed for the Mayday holiday on Monday 6th May.
