FOUNDATION/KEY STAGE 1 RADIO SHOWS
As part of our on-going programme of literacy development and our efforts to engage children purposefully in Talking, Listening, Reading and Writing our story reading sessions will, again, be broadcast on Wednesday mornings. These broadcasts were very popular last year.
Parents and grandparents are invited to read a story on our school radio station at 9.00 a.m. on Wednesday mornings when the shows are broadcast into each of the Foundation/Key Stage I classrooms.
Should you be interested in reading a story “on air” please complete the reply slip and return to school at your earliest convenience or speak to Mrs Smyth/Mrs Simpson. The radio show timetable is situated between the P1 and P2 classrooms. We appreciate that 9.00 a.m. may not suit everyone but stories can be pre-recorded and broadcast at a later date. Your child will receive a wristband after the radio show. The photos will be posted on Facebook.
