P7: Transfer from Primary to Secondary Education

07 January 2019

Transfer from Primary to Secondary Education

On Saturday 26th January you will receive notification of your child’s performance in the Common Entrance and/or GL Assessments. All parents, regardless of whether your child sat the tests or not, will then have the opportunity to attend a meeting in school to discuss your child’s progress and to complete the Transfer form indicating your preferences for secondary schools. However, you may decide that a meeting IS NOT required and therefore a Transfer form may be completed at home and returned to school.

Please note that information regarding secondary schools’ admissions criteria can be found at www.eani.org.uk/admission, from the websites of the schools or from a booklet which is held in our school and which you are welcome to view.
