Dear Primary 2 parents and carers,
The Department of Education has indicated that parent teacher meetings should not be conducted in the normal face-to-face way this academic year. We are going to conduct parent interviews for each year group separately. We have already completed parent teacher interviews for Nursery and Primary 7 pupils. We are soon going to be completing parent interviews for Primary 1 and Primary 2 pupils.
Parent/Teacher consultations for children in Primary 2 will be conducted via telephone or online via Microsoft Teams on the following dates: - Monday 16th November, Tuesday 17th November, Wednesday 18th November, Thursday 19th November and Friday 20th November 2020.
Parent /Teacher consultations for Primary 2 will take place from 2.10pm to 4.15pm each day and each appointment will last approximately 10 minutes. Interviews on Friday 20th November will finish at 3.15pm. The parent/teacher consultations are timetabled closely together so we would ask for your help to ensure that the timetable runs smoothly.
In order that you may be allocated a suitable date and time for your meeting may I ask you to complete the online questionnaire by Wednesday 11th November 2020. Please indicate the days/times which are NOT convenient for you. We will then timetable you a day/time for your parent/teacher consultation.
Pupils in Primary 2 will go home at the normal time of 1.50pm each day when parent teacher interviews are taking place.
