Dear Primary 6 parents and carers,
The Department of Education has indicated that parent teacher meetings should not be conducted in the normal face-to-face way this academic year. We are going to conduct parent interviews for each year group separately. We have already completed parent teacher interviews for Nursery, P1, P2, P3, P4 and P7 pupils. We are soon going to be completing parent interviews for P5 and P6 pupils.
Parent/Teacher consultations for children in Primary 6 will be conducted via telephone or online via Microsoft Teams on the following dates: - Monday 14th December, Tuesday 15th December, Wednesday 16th December and Thursday 17th December.
Parent /Teacher consultations for Primary 6 will take place on:
- Monday 14th December from 2.15pm to 4.15pm
- Tuesday 15th December from 2.15pm to 4.15pm
- Wednesday 16th December from 2.15pm to 4.15pm
- Thursday 17th December from 2.15pm to 4.15pm
The parent/teacher consultations are timetabled closely together so we would ask for your help to ensure that the timetable runs smoothly. In order that you may be allocated a suitable date and time for your meeting may I ask you to complete the online questionnaire by Monday 7th December 2020. Please indicate the days/times which are NOT convenient for you. We will then timetable you a day/time for your parent/teacher consultation.
Pupils in Primary 6 will go home at the normal time of 3.00pm each day when parent teacher interviews are taking place.
