I know a number of our families are into running and some of our families take part in local running events and parkruns.
If you or a member of your family is interested in running can I encourage you to sign up for 'The Walled City 10 Mile Road Race 2022' on Saturday 12th March 2022 to fundraise for our school. My plan is to set up a fundraising page for a 'Portstewart Primary School' team to raise funds towards an outdoor play and learning area for our pupils.
It is my intention to run the race myself, somewhat slowly may I add. The fee to enter is £21.25. Under the club/team section please write 'Portstewart Primary School' and then drop myself an email ([email protected]) to let me know that you have registered. There are limited spaces to enter but it is a great event that is often sold out.
