Dear Parent,
Our Summer Fair will be held on Thursday 13th June starting at 5.30 pm and running until 8.30 pm approximately. The money raised this year will help with the refurbishment of junior and senior classrooms and with the purchase of learning and teaching resources.
Many of the stalls and attractions which have been popular over the years will again be in evidence and some new attractions have also been added. Activities will include bottle stall, face painting, BBQ, bouncy castles, penalty kicks, tattoos, surf simulator and indoor games.
The success of our fair will depend to a large extent on the level of help which is received from the parent body. May I therefore, on behalf of the PTA, ask you to consider helping out at the fair. A reply slip is provided for this purpose and please remember that your help, even for a short time, will be very much appreciated. Replies should be sent to school by Thursday 6th June.
We would ask, also, for your assistance in the following aspects of the fair.
- Your help in supplying cakes, tray bakes for the cake stall would be very much appreciated. Contributions may be sent to school up to and including the morning of 13th June.
- Each family is being asked to fill a small sandwich bag with “goodies” which may include wrapped sweets, chocolate bars, small toys, pencils, rubbers, crayons etc. These bags will then be sold at the fair priced at £1 per bag. Filled bags should be returned to school by Wednesday 12th June.
- Raffle tickets will be available up to and including the evening of the fair.
