Dear parents/carers,
Due to sports day and staggered breaks and lunches there will be no morning snack available from the canteen on Wednesday 25th May. Please ensure your child, therefore, has a morning snack with them tomorrow.
I am keeping my eye on the weather forecast for tomorrow. I will send a text tomorrow morning at approximately 8am as to whether sports day is on or off. Hopefully, the weather will improve! Pupils are encouraged to come to school dressed in their house colours.
Just a reminder that our first session, featuring the P1 - P2 children, will start at approximately 9.20 a.m. At 10.30 a.m. P3 and P4 will compete in their Sports Day. Events will restart at 12.45 p.m. when the P5 - P7 children compete in their series of races. The P5-P7 Sports Day will be over at approximately 2.00pm.
Pupils in P1-P3 will go home at the normal time of 2.00 pm on Sports Day. Pupils in P4-P7 are permitted to go home at 2.00 pm on Sports Day. Please note that should we have to postpone the sports day or call a halt to the activities due to bad weather, the children will still be released at 2.00 p.m. A reserve date for Sports Day has been set for Monday 6th June 2022 when similar arrangements will apply.
