MUSIC PROVISION 2022 - 2023
During this week the peripatetic music teachers will carry out simple ‘tests’ to determine children’s suitability for various instruments. Should places become available children will be offered the opportunity of peripatetic teaching based on their performance in the tests.

Children who were in receipt of musical tuition last year will be automatically included in this year’s provision unless we hear from you otherwise.
Our peripatetic music teachers for the 2022 – 2023 year are:

Music costs for the hire of instruments and tuition will be applied at Board approved rates. The specific cost for tuition will be notified to you when testing has taken place and available places are allocated. Over the last number of years tuition fees, which include weekly lessons, have ranged from £150 - £190 for the school year. This sum can be paid as a single payment or spread over a number of months, this does not include the hire of equipment which is normally between £40.00 - £50.00 per year. Only those children who are willing to accept the place, if offered, should put themselves forward for testing.
We also have a piano tutor and more information will be sent to parents regarding piano tuition soon.
