Important information for your 2022-23 application for Free School Meals and Uniform Allowance
Dear parents/carers,
The Education Authority has sent us a list of all pupils at our school who have been granted Free School Meals. To date, we have not received information about Free School Meals entitlement for a number of our families who are eligible. It is important that you apply for free school meals/ uniform grants as soon as possible so that your application is processed.
We would urge all families who think they may be eligible for free school meals to apply now online. The application process can take a number of weeks so it is advised that families apply as soon as possible.
Just to make you aware that the greater the percentage of free school meals a school has the higher the level of funding which is available for schools. Families who are eligible for free school meals can then choose whether they want to avail of the free school meals service or provide a lunch for their child. Please note that ALL applicants, either new or existing, must apply/reapply for the school year beginning September 2022.
