Dear P6 parents and carers,
A P6 and P7 Surfing Afterschool Club will run on Wednesday 8th June, Wednesday 15th June, Thursday 23rd June and Wednesday 29th June from 2.15 - 4.15pm, for P6 and P7 pupils. This afterschool club was originally opened to only P7 but six spaces are still available so we have now opened it up to P6.
The pupils will be walked to Portstewart Strand and surf lessons will be provided by qualified instructors. The cost of the club is £80 for 4 weeks, which includes all equipment and wetsuits. This is the discounted rate for schools.
It will run from Wednesday 8th June and the last session will be on Wednesday 29th June. The lessons allow time to get suited up, warmed up, and land / water based tuition. This not only includes surfing, but also water safety, awareness and skills. Pick up will be from Portstewart Strand in the afternoons at 4.15pm after Surf Club. If you would like your child to take part please book via ParentPay. There are 16 spaces allocated for Surf Club.
