Peanut Allergy
Please be aware that children who suffer from peanut allergies are enrolled in our school. Teachers and classroom assistants have been briefed and made aware of the concerns surrounding food related anaphylaxis. However, we need your help in minimising the risks to children during the school day. To this effect, and until further notice, may I ask you not to include nuts of any type in a packed lunch or in any items you send with your child for mid-morning “break” (including peanut butter sandwiches). Your co-operation in this matter is essential and very much appreciated.
Please remember to inform us, immediately, of any health related problems which your child may be suffering from on a permanent or temporary basis.
